Opening Ceremony
Buddha World Girls School, led by the extraordinarily gifted and driven vision of Dr. Mahachandra Prasad Singh, Former Minister, Bihar; Mr. Krishna Kumar, Chairman Buddha World Group of Schools; Mr. Sri Vikash, President, SSS Vikash Sewa Sansthan, Muzaffarpur and Dr. Sarika Malhotra, Head of Schools, Buddha World Group of Schools, welcome families in Muzaffarpur to the opening ceremony of the unique Girls School. It’s encouraging that Mr. Ajeet Kumar, Former Minister, Bihar and Mr. Sanjay Kumar, former director of the sports and cultural ministry of the government of Bihar among other dignitaries expressed support for the establishment of a residential day school for girls in Muzaffarpur.
Inauguration
With a modern and safe environment for girls to pursue their dreams, Buddha World Girls School is prepared to take on responsibility. The inauguration of the institution was attended and blessed by some of the most prominent and powerful figures, including Mrs. Renu Devi, Deputy Chief Minister, Bihar; Mr. Vijay Kumar Sinha, Speaker, Bihar Legislative Assembly; Dr. Mahachandra Prasad Singh, Former Minister, Government of Bihar; Mr. Krishna Kumar, Chairman, Buddha World Group of Schools; Mr. Sri Vikash, President, SSS Vikash Sewa Sansthan, Muzaffarpur; Dr. Sarika Malhotra, Head of Schools, Buddha World Group of Schools, Mrs. Seema Sharma, professor at Delhi University. Together, they formed an advisory group with the goal of advancing future concepts in the field of education for girls and endowing the next generation of girls with knowledge, creativity, and the ability to freely express themselves.
CBSE Cluster Games Kabaddi
“Kheloge tho Khiloge“, Buddha World Girls School in Marwan, Muzaffarpur, hosted the prestigious CBSE, Cluster Games, Kabaddi, Girls. 56 teams from Jharkhand and Bihar took part with enthusiasm and good sportsmanship. Their unwavering spirit allowed them to govern and dictate the ground. Mr. Giriraj Singh, Minister of Rural Development and Panchayti Raj Department, Government of India; Dr. Mahachandra Prasad Singh, Former Minister, Government of Bihar; Mrs. Seema Sharma, Professor, Delhi University; Mrs. Mamta Rani, Principal, RBBM college, Muzaffarpur; Mr. Krishna Kumar, Chairman, Buddha World Group of Schools and Mrs. Anita Singh, Principal, Buddha World Girls School were among those present to support and encourage the young girls.
The CBSE Cluster Games, Kabaddi was a huge success, and Jharkhand produced the winner.
Promoting Girl's Education
A group of strong and independent women from Muzaffarpur city came to support Buddha World Girls School and it’s initiatives and commitment towards female education. Mrs. Mamta Rani, Principal of RBBM College Muzaffarpur; Mrs. Sangeeta Sahi, Advocate; Mrs. Pallavi Sahay, Eyes Specialist; Mrs. Deevya Shah, Entrepreneur; Mrs. Rajnandeeni, Mrs. World Earth 2022; among other prominent women from Muzaffarpur city gathered in the campus to encourage and discuss girls education in Bihar with Mr. Krishna Kumar, Chairman, Buddha World Group of Schools and Mrs. Anita Singh, Principal, Buddha World Girls School.
Summer Camp
A one of a kind Summer Camp was organised in the School premises which included an array of activities from Sports such as Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Cricket and Football, Art & Crafts such as Madhubani painting, Worli Painting, Paper craft, Crochet and knitting, and Abacus, Spoken English and Personality Development classes along with Kathak and classical music.
The biggest benefit of the summer camp was that it took children out of their comfort zone and pushed them to try new things, as well as explore their already established interests.
